The ECOR Foundation and BCRI are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the second volume in the Ocean Series titled Aquatic Biodiversity and Aquaculture Nutrition. This peer-reviewed ISBN book aims to compile high-quality scientific contributions that advance understanding of aquatic biodiversity, nutritional science, and sustainable aquaculture practices. We invite researchers, academicians, scientists, and practitioners from marine biology, aquatic ecology, aquaculture nutrition, environmental science, and related fields to submit original manuscripts.

Scope & Themes: This volume will cover a broad spectrum of topics at the intersection of aquatic biodiversity and nutrition in aquaculture systems, including but not limited to:

• Species diversity, ecosystem functioning, and ecological resilience

• Nutrient requirements and nutritional physiology of cultured aquatic organisms

• Sustainable feed development, alternative protein sources, and feed innovations

• Functional nutrition for health, immunity, and performance

• Gut microbiome, nutrient utilization, and digestive ecology

• Environmental impacts of aquaculture feeding practices

• Climate change effects on aquatic ecosystems and nutrition

• Integrated aquaculture systems and ecosystem-based approaches

• Genetics, breeding, and nutrient interactions

• Precision feeding, technology, and smart aquaculture solutions

Types of Manuscripts: We welcome a variety of scholarly formats such as:

• Original Research Articles

• Comprehensive Review Papers

• Short Communication

• Case Studies

• Policy Perspectives

• Methodological Advances

Submission Guidelines:

• Language: English

• Word Count: 3,000–8,000 words (including references, tables, figures)

• Abstract: 205–300 words structured with: Introduction, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion

• Keywords: 4–5 (comma-separated)

• Image Requirements: High-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi), embedded in manuscript and submitted as separate files

Important Dates:

• Call Opens: February 24, 2026

• Abstract Submission Deadline: April 10, 2026

• Final Manuscript Submission Deadline: April 30, 2026

Review Process & Publication:

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.

• Initial review feedback: within 5–10 days of abstract submission

• Final acceptance decision: within 20–30 days of full manuscript review

• Proofreading: completed within 2 days of acceptance

• Publication Date: Scheduled for May 2026
  
  

Article Processing Charge (APC):
Authors of accepted papers are required to pay an APC of ₹750 INR within 3 days of receiving the acceptance letter. This fee supports peer review, editing, formatting, and open-access distribution.
